Fleet Complete to present on Blockchain and value of 3rd party partnerships at Connected Fleets USA 2017 Conference
Fleet Complete’s Chief Strategy Officer, Sandeep Kar, will lead the discussion around Blockchain and the pull of third party industry partners in the connected vehicle space at the annual conference in Atlanta on September 25 – 26.
(Sept 22, 2017 – Toronto, Canada) – The Connected Fleets USA 2017Conference & Exhibition is an important annual event in North America covering the evolution and future direction of connected fleets. This year, it is bringing together technological leaders to discuss how rapid digitization will impact the ecosystem, and define the future roadmap. Experts from the automaker, fleet operator, government, telematics service provider (TSP) and academia communities will share the stage to deliver actionable business and technical intelligence for the next generation of services.
Fleet Complete’s Sandeep Kar, Chief Strategy Officer and a global thought leader in the commercial vehicle industry, will present the company’s activities and vison on Blockchain as well as the powerful impact third party industry partners have on connected vehicle eco-system. Fleet Complete is the world’s first telematics service provider to join Blockchain in Trucking Alliance(BiTA), whose members represent all corners of freight mobility industry. Together, the alliance will be working to establish the protocols around Blockchain use in commercial transportation.
The conference agenda is two-fold. On September 25, Kar will be joining panel members, representing Daimler Trucks North America, Penske Leasing, and Overhaul, to discuss how working with organizations within the fleet industry can offer both challenges and opportunities to telematics solutions providers. While on September 26, Kar, alongside Craig Fuller, CEO of TransRisk and a founding member of BiTA, will elaborate on Blockchain’s impact on the trucking industry and opportunities in its utilization for freight mobility.
Connected Fleets USA 2017 will be held in the same week and location as The North American Commercial Vehicle Show in downtown Atlanta. Fleet operators are invited to attend the conference and exhibition for free and in substantial numbers.
